Please email us and let us know if you would like to get a group together to “host” a Get Plastered workshop (party) on September 25th. The more the merrier, not to mention the media exposure! And, meet us on a brisk October morning (date TBD) in 2015 on the MALL in Washington, D.C. to exhibit all of our busts - one after another on the green grass near the reflecting pool.

Her2 Friends is being built on the premiss that woman can heal by gathering in a community and making art. If you choose, you can exhibit it; raising awareness and optionally money for the breast cancer, keeping the money in your own community. Her2 Friends would like to help you go through one or all of the steps. As one participant last year said,  “THIS LIBERATING EXPERIENCE SHOULD BE SPREAD LIKE A TUPPERWARE PARTY!” With our complementary assistance you can experience the amazing support of women, heal through art, and educate others. This may all be possible as part of breast cancer’s GET PLASTERED DAY.  You don’t even need to be an artist - just gather a group of 5 or more women and be enthusiastic!

We will help you prepare for HER2 FRIENDS events by...

*Collect participants “donations” for supplies (typical fee ranges from $25-100 per person),

•Organize your plastering event (free kit includes: movie, anatomic breast, education materials, & more) where women will create plaster impressions of their breasts using plaster of paris,

•Assist in the purchase of materials for the plastering,

*Assist in the purchase of materials decorating (which is done when the busts are fully dried),

•Web site development, assistance, and space,

•Artwork,

•PR,

•Exhibition assistance,

*Clearinghouse to get donations to organization of your choice,

  1. Use of non-profit to get donations, permits and other items for events.
